Trained by Saving Grace
We are a faith-based community organization located in the Kansas City metropolitan area of Missouri. Casting Vision is for youth, women and men ages 16-23 years old. Our targeted; yet not limited, population includes individuals transitioning through or have outgrown the foster care system. Our goal is to help those individuals launch forward into independence with integrity and good stewardship. Ways we connect with our community is by providing outreach to our schools, foster homes, and group homes, by empowering individuals to be their greatest self, through motivational speeches given by our leaders. In addition to those services, we provide housing for women and men ages 17-23 to help equip them to be successful financially, physically, and mentally. During their stay at Casting Vision, we will provide life skill training to help empower them to build a successful financial future. These classes include career readiness, budgeting, proper housekeeping, and self-care. Our Visionaries live on campus at no cost to them, with the requirement of saving 60% of their income. This will allow them to build a savings plan to use toward 3-6 months' worth of rent, in their residence upon graduation from the program.
